Ather Energy has also announced that the company has introduced the first-of-its-kind Assured Buyback Program for the Ather 450 Plus and Ather 450X. At the end of three years, the brand assures a buyback amount of INR 85,000 for the Ather 450X and INR 70,000 for the Ather 450 Plus. The high reliability of the product also ensures that the Ather scooters retain a strong value in the resale market. Ather Energy has also introduced a leasing program only for the Bengaluru and Chennai market, in its initial phase, to further encourage the adoption of electric vehicles in the country. The leasing program allows customers to acquire Ather 450 by paying a smaller amount than the full and a nominal monthly fee. Aficionados from the city of Bengaluru can also exchange their old internal combustion engine vehicle and opt for low-interest rate loans from multiple partners that Ather Energy has partnered for finance schemes, taking EV adoption a step higher.

Ather Energy currently has 37 fast-charging stations in Bengaluru and 13 in Chennai. The brand will also be installing new fast-charging stations at newer locations in Chennai like VR Mall Chennai, Sangeetha Mobiles, Chai Kings, SPR Food Street, and Mash Resto Cafe. Ather Energy will also be installing Ather Grid charging stations in more than 135 locations in all the 11 cities that Ather Energy has announced its presence in before December 2020 to improve the charging ecosystem and reduce the range anxiety of the customer. Also, the charging infrastructure can be used by all-electric vehicles – four wheelers & two-wheelers to charge and will be free until March 2021.

Ather has also announced that bookings for other cities will commence before Diwali.
