Astro Motors receives orderr for 1,000 Electric Three-Wheelers

Astro Motors, an emerging Electric Vehicle company has some big news. The company successfully designed and manufactured the world’s first manual electric three-wheeler vehicle. It also bagged a purchase order to deliver 1,000 units of its model, the Astro Triyaan NAVYA. Several electric vehicles (EVs) manufactured by Astro Motors are currently undergoing a pilot run. This is happening across various parts of the country by logistics companies like SKS Cleantech and Loadex Supply Chain Solutions.

What Is The Astro Triyaan Navya?

Astro Motors‘ current model called Astro Triyaan NAVYA is a cargo three-wheeler L5 segment vehicle. It uses a 10.2 kWh battery having a payload capacity of 635 kgs with a range of 120 kms. Electronically the limited top speed is set at 50 kmph. Astro Motors mentioned are happy with the success and response from their products. This is just the beginning of the EV market in India, and they have plans to increase their manufacturing capacities.

Undergoing Tests For Astro Triyaan Navya

In the ongoing pilot run of Astro Navya, the EV has been outperforming most of the three-wheelers in this space. In the near future, there are plans to deliver at least 3000 units to the companies.

The Astro Navya, also has the tag of bringing the first three-wheeler electric vehicle to successfully conquer the world’s highest motorable road at Umling La Pass, located in Ladakh at 19,024 ft. The vehicles have successfully tested across different terrains and weather conditions in various parts of India. With these tests, the vehicles demonstrated their capabilities of penetrating the EV market by delivering high-performance three-and reliable vehicles.

Currently, India is undergoing a revolution in the Indian logistics industry with EVs. The government and policymakers too are playing a proactive role in decarbonizing the e-commerce and logistics sectors and transitioning to electric mobility faster. As the future roadmap and infrastructure are being set up across states in India, Astro Motors are being ready with the technology.
