Aston Martin has officially launched the all-new Vanquish in India, priced at INR 8.85 crore (ex-showroom). This marks the return of one of the brand’s most legendary nameplates, now reimagined as a halo model that combines breathtaking performance with ultra-luxury craftsmanship. The Vanquish is set to redefine the standards of high-performance grand tourers in the Indian market.
Aston Martin Vanquish powertrain
At the heart of the Vanquish lies a newly developed 5.2-litre twin-turbocharged V12 engine. This powerhouse produces an astonishing 835 PS of power and 1000 Nm of torque. This makes it the most potent V12 in Aston Martin’s series production lineup. The car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.3 seconds. It boasts a top speed of 214 mph (345 km/h), making it the fastest series production Aston Martin to date.
The Vanquish’s engineering is as impressive as its performance. The car features a new chassis structure with an 80mm longer wheelbase, enhancing both stability and interior space. Advanced Bilstein DTX dampers, an electronic rear differential (e-diff), and bespoke 21-inch Pirelli P ZERO tyres ensure precise handling and high-speed stability. This combination of supercar agility and grand touring comfort sets a new benchmark in the segment.
Aston Martin Vanquish design
Design-wise, the Vanquish is a masterpiece. Its carbon-fibre bodywork exudes elegance and aggression, with a stretched bonnet, imposing grille, and aerodynamic elements that enhance its road presence. Customers can choose between a carbon-fibre or full-length panoramic glass roof, adding to the car’s bespoke appeal. The interior is equally luxurious, featuring premium materials, a state-of-the-art infotainment system, and a driver-focused layout.
Aston Martin has limited the production of the Vanquish to under 1,000 units annually, ensuring exclusivity for its discerning clientele.
