Ashok Leyland announces the launch of the Dual tyre Lift Axle Truck (DTLA) named AVTR 3120. This is a 3-axle 6×2 truck that comes with three GVW nodes, which are 31T, 40.5T and 47.5T. Ashok Leyland mentioned that this product would operate at 31 Ton with the lift axle down, thus taking more load than conventional 6×2 trucks. And at 18.5 Ton with the lift axle up ensures lower fuel and operating cost similar to 4×2 during light load/partial load/return empty. Features like these help in providing the customers with operational flexibility. This will also ensure the best-in-class total cost of operations benefits, helping the customers gain more profits.
Key Features Of The Truck
Build of the latest AVTR platform thus provides multiple cab and feature options. The equipped engine is the Ashok Leyland’s 2000Hp engine that gets the iGen6 technology. Ashok Leyland claims that this use of tech enhances fluid efficiency greatly. As of now, the truck is available in the cowl and 3 cabin options, namely, N Cab, U Cab and M Cab. Customers can choose from loading bays that span from 24’ to 32’. The N cab offers the best in class driving experience with the help of dampers.
Other key highlights are suspended driver seat, excellent storage spaces, anti-roll bar in the front, music system, full metal front fascia, AC and HVAC options. On top of this, the trucks also come loaded with digital solutions like remote diagnostics, i-Alert (advanced telematics), and more. These are supported by 24×7 customer assistance Service Mandi network and Uptime Solution Center.

Ashok Leyland recently announced the launch of AVTR High Horse Power Trippers. The performance output of the truck stands at 320HP of power and 1200 Nm of torque, thus making it the indigenously made engine that delivers the utmost torque, acceleration and fuel efficiency. Leveraging the demand in the CNG segment, Ashok Leyland introduced a new product called E-Comet Star. This truck makes use of an H Series 4 cylinder BS-VI engine. The torque output of the truck stands at 450 Nm at 1,250 to 2,000 RPM.
