Aprilia Tuono 457 – launch details
Aprilia showcased the Tuono 457 recently at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025. The naked sports bike is now available in India at Rs 3.95 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), thus making it Rs 25,000 cheaper than its super sports sibling RS457. It is available in two colour options – Piranha Red and Puma Grey.
The Tuono 457 is based on the same platform but it features an upright riding position and revised ergonomics for easy city riding. Meanwhile, the sporty quotient of the Aprilia brand exists with its powerful 457cc parallel-twin liquid-cooled engine. This powertrain makes a 46.9 bhp and 43.5 Nm of peak power and torque.
Aprilia has designed the Tuono with a love and it is visible from every angle. In terms of styling, it gets a sculpted fuel tank and a sharp front design with an LED projector headlight along with DRLs.
Feature-wise, it is equipped with the 5-inch TFT console, similar to the RS457. This console features Bluetooth smartphone connectivity along with features like turn-by-turn navigation, SMS/call alerts, and more.
The newly launched Tuono 457 is going to compete with the segment leader KTM 390 Duke and the Yamaha MT-03. It is the second naked motorcycle in the sub 500cc category in India that offers a parallel-twin engine.

Our verdict
Aprilia’s commitment towards the Indian market seems to be working fine. The launch of the RS457 was also received well and it has managed to sell beyond the expectations of the brand. Now, the aggressively priced Tuono 457 can become a game changer for Aprilia in India.
