Aprilia has launched the new maxi-scooter Aprilia SXR 125 at INR 1.15 lakh ex-showroom, Pune. Interested customers can book the Aprilia SXR 125 at INR 5,000.
The Aprilia SXR 125 will be available across all dealerships in India and through the e-commerce website. The brand also announced that the production is in full swing at the state-of-the-art production plant in Baramati, Maharashtra. The Aprilia SXR 125 comes with the Crossmax design and styling similar to the Aprilia SXR 160. The Aprilia SXR 160 made its market debut at the price of INR 1.26 lakh costing approximately INR 11,000 more than the SXR 125.

The Aprilia SXR 125 features the Italian brand’s global design language and claims to come with a bespoke fit and finish. The Aprilia SXR 125 features the hallmark triple headlamp set up on the front giving the scooter a wide fascia. The maxi-scooter features a wide and tall fairing and comes with a flatscreen that deflects the wind and weather elements.
The Aprilia SXR 125 features an ergonomic seat design and upright handlebar, offering a relaxed rider’s triangle. The scooter also gets a sharp tail end with a wraparound combination taillight cluster. The SXR 125 also comes with a generous footboard and multiple storage spots such as a glove box and under-seat storage options built into its body. The brand also offers USB Charging feature and a fully digital instruments display.
Aprilia SXR 125 Technical Specifications
The Aprilia SXR 125 is powered by a 124.45cc single-cylinder engine. The air/fan-cooled, the three-valve motor comes with a SOHC valve distribution system and an electronic fuel injection system. The BS6 emission compliant motor produces 9.52 PS of power and 9.2 Nm of torque. The engine comes with a CVT automatic gearbox, which is an ideal combination for urban commutes in stop & go traffic.
The SXR 125 features 12-inch 5-spoke dual-geometry alloy wheels shod in 120/70 tubeless tyres. The maxi-scooter is designed to look big but is also easily rideable in urban environments. The SXR 125 measures 1963mm in length, 803mm in width, and a wheelbase of 1361mm. The scooter also comes with a 7-litre fuel tank offering a long-range.
The Aprilia SXR 125 will be available in 3 coat HD body paint finish. The bodywork on the scooter features Aprilia’s signature graphics, matt black design trims and dark chrome elements. Aprilia offers Glossy Red, Glossy White, Matt Blue, and Matt Black colour options.
