Aprilia reveals Tuono 660 Factory top trim at EICMA 2021

Written by AnantaSaranNayak

Aprilia has unveiled the higher-spec version of the Tuono 660, called Tuono 660 Factory. This motorcycle gets a host of changes when compared to the standard Touno 660. This includes higher-spec hardware along with a lighter kerb weight. The key changes include the suspension setup, consisting of 41mm Kayaba front forks and a Sachs rear mono-shock. Both of them are adjustable for compression, spring preload and rebound damping.

Furthermore, the Factory variant also makes use of a lightweight lithium battery. This reduces the weight by almost two kilograms, thus enhancing the power-to-weight ratio. The Factory trim also makes use of Dark graphics that further add to the sporty appeal. Moreover, the motorcycle gets a single-seat tail fairing in black and red colour tone. Pillion seat along with footpeg is a standard fitment offered with the motorcycle.

More Details – Mechanicals And Equipment

Aprilia Tuono 660 Factory gets the 660cc, twin-cylinder liquid-cooled engine. The performance output stands at 98.6 BHP, up from 93.7 BHP of the standard trim. The peak torque of 67 Nm is the same for both trims. In terms of kit and equipment, the motorcycle gets a host of additions. The list includes the likes of a full suite of APRC electronic controls that work with a six-axis inertial platform, cornering ABS, traction control, wheelie control, cruise control, a bidirectional quick shifter, engine brake control, and selectable engine maps. The rider can choose from a total of 5 different riding modes, which is also present in the standard trim.

Will It Come To India?

As of now, there is no official statement from Aprilia suggesting the same. But we do understand that there are high chances that the Factory trim makes it onto our roads. The standard trim of the Tuono 660 is currently on sale in India at a sticker price of INR 13,09,000 (ex-showroom). So we can expect that Aprilia might bring in the Factory Trim of the Tuono 660 as well.
