Aprilia has unveiled the new RSV4 X EX3MA in the international market. The Aprilia RSV4 X EX3MA builds on the brand’s sell out success with the RSV4 X Trenta that was launched in the past. Now the brand has revealed that just like the X Trenta the X EX3MA will have ultra exclusivity and will be limited to just 30 units worldwide. However, the limited edition numbers of the RSV4 X EX3MA are not just the surprising bit. But what will also surprise you is its hefty price tag. The Aprilia RSV4 X EX3MA will come with a price tag of EUR 80,000 which roughly converts to INR 76 lakhs. However, what you get for the price is a marvel of engineering.
MotoGP Derived Ground-Effect Package
The Aprilia RSV4 X EX3MA is the first production motorcycle to come with the entire aerodynamic package, derived from MotoGP. The ground-effect aerodynamics are patented and entirely developed by Aprilia Racing and previously exclusive only to the Aprilia RS-GP 24 motorcycle, which competes in MotoGP. The aero package includes a front wing, an under wing which is also known as the ‘spoon’, under the swingarm, and the cornering wings. The fairing on the RSV4 X EX3MA are entirely made of carbon fibre and crafted by PAN Compositi using the same techniques as MotoGP. The fairing with the aero package exploits air pressure between the ground and the bike creating 3 times as much downforce during corners and five times the vertical air pressure in a straight line.
Advanced and Fine Tuned Powertrain
Powering the Aprilia RSV4 X EX3MA is a 1099 cc 65-degree V4 engine. The engine has been further fine-tuned by Aprilia Racing’s engine specialists so that it produces 230 hp at 13,500 rpm and can rev upto a maximum speed of 13,900 rpm and delivers 131 Nm of torque at 11,000 rpm. The motorcycle also gets a high-permeability Sprint Filter air filter, and an SC Project exhaust system with titanium headers and twin tailpipes. The brand also offer the bike with Aprilia Racing’s renowned APX, ECU which is an exclusive component and used in the WSBK World Championships won by Max Biaggi. The brand is also offering a Yashi laptop with the bike to manage the ECU software effectively.
The Aprilia RSV4 X EX3MA will be available for reservation exclusively online at the FactoryWorks website. The limited edition motorcycle also comes with a personalised bike cover, a dedicated carpet, and a rear stand.
