The Italian manufacturer’s supersport RSV4 served as the basis for Aprilia’s track-only RSV4 XTrenta, which was introduced a few years ago. One XTrenta has arrived in India, despite the fact that there are only 100 of them available globally.

The track-only Aprilia XTrenta RSV4 borrows the ordinary bike’s silhouette while gaining a number of racing features. Its carbon fibre bodywork was created by PAN Compisiti, a Modena-based company. The setup consists of the swingarm and front and rear appendages. According to reports, the winglets reduce drag on the RSV4 XTrenta by 4%.

Aprilia XTrenta RSV4 Features:

The XTrenta’s silhouette looks similar to that of the standard RSV4. But it gets carbon fibre bodywork developed by Modena-based PAN Compisiti. The XTrenta gets new front and rear winglets along with an underwing design on the swingarm. The latter was used on Aprilia’s GP bikes back in 2019. Overall, the aero kit is aimed at reducing the drag by four per cent and increasing the load by 25 per cent.

Aprilia has equipped the RSV4 XTrenta with Ohlins front forks and a rear mono-shock. The braking hardware comes from Brembo as twin 330mm front discs held by GP4-MS billet monobloc callipers. It rides on forged magnesium Marchesini M7R GENESI alloys wrapped in 120/70 front and 200/65 rear Pirelli Diablo SBK tyres.

Aprilia has priced the XTrenta at EUR 50,000 (approximately Rs 40 lakh excluding taxes). As mentioned earlier, it’s limited to just 100 units worldwide, and the chances of it making it to the Indian shores are bleak.

Engine:

The Aprilia race bike is powered by a 1,099cc V4 liquid-cooled engine. It produces 230 horsepower, 13 horsepower more than the RSV4 standard. A Magneti Marelli ECU and a full system exhaust made of titanium and carbon fibre from the SC project are further advantages for the XTrenta.

The Aprilia RSV4 XTrenta cost EUR 50,000 when it was first released, which is about Rs 40 lakh without taxes. It’s safe to say that a motorbike with this kind of equipment is not inexpensive.
