Ampere Electric has launched the Primus RCB edition. This marks its collaboration with the Royal Challengers Bangalore team for the 2023 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Not only this, we are expecting several announcements from Ampere during the T20 tournament. Customers can now book the Ampere Primus RCB Edition. It is currently open for pre-bookings at a price of INR 499.
Ampere Motors mentioned that they have plans to produce a limited number of Primus RCB edition electric scooters. These exclusive models will go to a player from the RCB team during each of their home games. As it stands, the pricing for this special edition has not been disclosed.

Ampere Primus is the flagship electric scooter offering from Ampere. The company claims that this is the perfect EV for multiple usage cases of any Indian family. In fact, the EV maker also claims that the scooter has a very high appeal for modern millennial customers. The RCB-themed limited edition Ampere Primus aims to bring to life the spirit and excitement of the sport and team. Ampere Electric’s long-term aim is to make Har Gully Electric.
Battery And Charging Details
The limited edition Ampere Primus RCB has a 3.4 kW PMS electric motor. This electric scooter is capable of accelerating from 0-40 kmph in just 4.2 seconds. The top speed of the scooter is set at 77 kmph. It comes loaded with a host of key features. The scooter also equips an LFP battery pack with a lifespan of one lakh kilometres. The equipped battery pack of the scooter comes with a certified range of 107 km on a single charge. Meanwhile, it takes five hours to fully charge from 0 to 100 percent. The scooter also comes equipped with three riding modes, namely, combi braking, and has a 22-litre storage capacity.
