Ampere Electric partners with bike rental platform ‘Bounce’ for electric scooter ride sharing

Coimbatore based electric two-wheeler manufacturer, Ampere Electric a wholly-owned electric mobility subsidiary of Greaves Cotton Ltd., has announced that the brand has partnered with India’s leading bike rental platform ‘Bounce’ to enable the company faster adoption of electric scooters and affordable last-mile connectivity. With the new partnership, will focus on Ampere Electric’s performance range of electric scooters for shared and rental electric mobility solutions.

The brand explains that in the post-COVID-19 world where both businesses and customers are looking for a safe shared mobility platforms. Ampere Electric is making available the customer-centric requirements for retail electric scooter buyers and leading e-commerce delivery & rideshare through the brand’s nationwide dealership network. Ampere is customising the electric scooters for the rideshare partner to make them more accessible and friendly to customers who wish to make the transition into sustainable mobility solutions. 

In the post-COVID era, Bounce has transitioned all its offerings into electric mobility to provide the new-age eco-conscious players, especially in the delivery and bike rental space. The electric scooters are not only eco-friendly but also cost-effective and easy to maintain. Therefore, Ampere along with Bounce is facilitating more sustained and affordable shared mobility solutions for its rideshare customers. 

Recently, the brand also its collaboration with OTO Capital and Autovert Technologies a Financial Technology expert that specializes in EV subscriptions, to further provide easy EV acquisitions. Ampere Electric and Autovert will provide with a unique battery subscription plan starting from INR 1990 making Ampere Vehicles even more affordable. 

Ampere also launched new variants of the Reo, V48, Magnus and Zeal. The five new variants have been launched at – the Reo Plus priced at INR 42,490 (Lead-acid variant), the Reo Elite launched at INR 42,999 (Lead-acid variant), the V48 Plus priced at INR 36,190, the Magnus 60 (Slow speed) priced at INR 49,999 and the Zeal Ex priced at INR 66,949.
