A recent closed group study reveals that there is a sudden spike in the demand for electric vehicles in India, especially after the recent petrol hike. Ampere range of electric vehicles starts from as low as INR 35,000 and the company claims that the running cost is just INR 15 paise per km. As per calculation, an Indian riding at an average of 1000 km per month can save close to INR 2,000 on fuel. Apart from this, the maintenance cost is significantly less for an electric vehicle thus providing a very convenient and hassle-free customer experience.
