Akrapovic Exhaust – Suzuki recently launched the all-new Hayabusa in the Global market. The much-anticipated motorcycle was also launched in India and received an overwhelming response. The brand sold out the White colour option of the Hayabusa in India within 24 hours of its launch. Now, Slovenian performance exhaust manufacturer Akrapovic has introduced ‘Slip-On Line’ and ‘Racing Line’ exhaust systems for the new motorcycle.
Hayabusa Akrapovic Slip-On Line Exhaust
Constructed out of Titanium which is a low density but high strength material. Titanium allows that exhaust system to be very strong as well as light at the same time. As compared to high strength steel Titanium is around 40% lighter, has high corrosion resistance and durability. The Slip-On Line exhaust for Hayabusa fully complies with euro 5 EC/ECE type approval and features a catalytic converter in each can.

The outer sleeve on the mufflers is black coated Titanium and comes with carbon-fibre end caps and carbon-fibre heat shields. The exhaust system also features high-grade stainless steel link pipes. Compared to the stock exhaust system, the Akrapovic Slip-On Line exhaust system is 31.6% lighter. The Slip-On Exhaust also improves the performance figures by 1.6 Hp of power and 1.9 Nm of torque. The brand has also worked in the aerodynamics department to ensure that the mufflers stay aero-efficient. The exhausts also come with a laser-engraved ‘Akrapovič’ logo.

But most importantly, the Akrapovic Slip-On Line exhaust ensures a sonorous performance. The brand boasts that the aural performance is not only vivid but also sporty, and deep. The Slip-On Line system is also a simple plug-and-play product which means the motorcycle need not be remapped and is completely road legal as it produces a sound output that does not exceed dB 91.9 @ 4,850 RPM
Hayabusa Akrapovic Racing Line Exhaust
The Racing Line is the final step in the exhaust system tuning process. The Racing Line exhaust system is designed for customers who demand maximum performance from their Hayabusa. The system increases engine performance by 8.8 Hp of power and 5.7 Nm of torque. The system is also 14 kg lighter than the stock system and is constructed using high-grade titanium and carbon fibre. It is important to note that this product DOES NOT MEET EMISSION COMPLIANCE REQUIREMENTS FOR STREET or HIGHWAY USE.
