ADAS (Advanced Driver assistance system) is a premium feature that allows the driver to drive the car with more ease and safety by minimizing the human error, and was initially introduced in the premium and high end cars only. But later on as the awareness and importance of ADAS grew, it was introduced in mid range price cars as well. These are the top 5 affordable and budget friendly cars that have ADAS in them.

Mahindra XUV 3XO ADAS features:

The Mahindra XUV 3XO is available at 12.24 lakh (ex-showroom). It has a level 2 ADAS technology, handed-down by XUV 700. This Level 2 ADAS has features like adaptive cruise control, Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB), Forward Collision Warning (FCW), lane departure alert, driver fatigue detection, smart pilot assistance, lane-keeping assistance and traffic sign recognition. The Mahindra XUV 3XO AX5L comes in two variants – manual and automatic. The manual and automatic both have a petrol engine that generates the power of 129 bhp respectively.

Hyundai Venue :

Hyundai’s Venue SX (O) is on this list for its camera oriented ADAS suite that has features like forward collision warning and avoidance assistance, lane-keeping support, and high beam assist. It also alerts when the vehicle ahead moves. The price of the car is 12.44 lakh (ex-showroom). The Venue SX comes with 3 engine variants – 1.5 L turbo diesel engine generating 114 bhp and 250 Nm of torque, 1 L turbo petrol engine generating 118 bhp and 170 Nm of torque and a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated (NA) petrol engine producing 82 bhp and 115 Nm of torque.

Honda’s Honda city V manual also has a camera based ADAS that supports features like lane-keeping assistance, automatic high-beam control, lane departure alerts, adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking, and a collision mitigation braking system. The price of the car is 12.70 lakh (ex showroom) and the car comes with 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that produces 119 bhp and 145 Nm of torque. The car comes in a 6 speed manual gearbox and a CVT automatic.

The Kia Sonet GTX plus variant is priced at 14.72 lakh (ex-showroom) and also has a camera based ADAS suit having the same features like Hyundai Venue SX such as forward collision warning and avoidance assist, lane-keeping aid, high beam assist, and alerts when the vehicles that are ahead move. The car comes in three engine variants: 1.5-litre turbo diesel engine generating 114bhp and 250 Nm of torque, 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine generating 118bhp and 170 Nm of torque; and a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that generates 82bhp and 115 Nm of torque.

Last on the list is Honda Elevate ZX manual at the starting price of 15.21 lakh (ex showroom). This one also has a camera based ADAS suite that has the same features like lane-keeping assistance, lane departure warnings, automatic high-beam assist adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking, and a collision mitigation braking system. The car comes with a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that produces 119bhp and 145 Nm of torque. It comes with a 6 speed manual transmission and a CVT automatic.
