Aarya Commander electric cruiser bike coming soon

Aarya Automobiles has announced their Commander, an electric cruiser bike. The Gujarat-based electric two-wheeler manufacturer says that the bike is expected to hit the market by the end of this year.

While details of the bike are not yet known completely, the electric cruiser will get a 3000 W, 72 V motor along with a 3.7 kWh Lithium-ion battery. A full charge is expected to take 4-5 hours.

With the EV segment getting traction in the Indian market, manufacturers are launching new two-wheelers catering to different audiences. Aarya Automobiles claims that its cruiser will be a comfortable and stylish bike while offering it at a reasonable price. It is also said to get a rich premium look and a host of features.

The Commander is positioned to target the youth in the country. It will be offered in 8 colour options.

Based out of Surat, Aarya automobiles was founded in 2019. It has its own manufacturing facility, and they aim to provide an affordable and powerful two-wheeler electric vehicle which is a fashion statement as well. The company also would offer the highest standard of quality with their offerings.

Aarya Automobiles aims to offer affordable yet quality EV infra pan India, and their maiden bike – the Commander – is a step in this direction. The bikes would be manufactured under the Make in India initiative.

Currently, the market leaders in the electric two-wheeler segment are Ather and Ola Electric. Others, like Revolt, Bajaj, etc., are also doing decent numbers. This segment of EVs is the hottest in the market due to the affordability factor and access to the general public. Compared to an electric car, a two-wheeler is much more cheaper and requires less charging time and infrastructure.
