One of India’s leading tyres & tubes manufacturing company, CEAT has announced that the brand has signed Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan as its brand ambassador for two years. Aamir Khan will be part of the brand’s marketing campaign and feature in two commercial that will run during the course of IPL 2020, to promote the brand’s SecuraDrive range of premium car tyres.

The campaign based on the theme ‘Don’t Be A Dummy’ highlights the usage of high-quality tyres that provide safety in any driving conditions. For the campaign, the creative team, O&M has devised an interesting storyline, where Aamir Khan’s charecter is of a paranoid Test Dummy and the story is set in an advanced tyre testing facility, where test dummies are used for testing tyre performance.

Aamir Khan’s character comes to life when no one is watching and manipulates the situations around him in order to save himself from the perils of tyre testing. The thought behind the campaign is to create awareness and disseminate the safety aspect of how the CEAT SecuraDrive car tyres facilitate a safe drive in diverse driving circumstances and offer high-speed cornering stability along with precise braking control.

The CEAT SecuraDrive tyres feature wide longitudinal tread grooves coupled with the smart compounding technology enable the driver to take control over both wet and dry road conditions. The enhanced tyre tread technology also helps lower noise levels while commuting and claims to deliver a comfortable driving experience.

The SecuraDrive range of tyres are meant for premium sedans and compact SUVs such as Honda City, Skoda Octavia, Toyota Corolla, Hyundai Creta, Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Honda WR-V, etc.

In other news, CEAT has launched a new range of Puncture Safe Tyres for motorcycles which are now available in select Southern state markets including Kerala, Bangalore, Mysore & parts of Karnataka as well as Coimbatore & Salem in Tamil Nadu.

The new range of ‘Puncture Safe’ tyres from the CEAT are designed to restrict the tyres from deflating at the point of puncture. The resistance in loss of pressure is provided by the CEAT’s in-house developed and patented Sealent that seals the punctures giving the Puncture Safe tyres ‘self-healing’ properties.
