TVS Apache celebrates 4 million sales milestone, enters Asia Book of records with 957 feet long flag

TVS Motor Company is celebrating 4 million global sales milestone on the brand’s flagship model the TVS Apache. The TVS Apache series was introduced back in 2005 and claims to be the fastest-growing motorcycle marque in the Indian market along with a strong presence in the international market. To commemorate the 4 million global milestones, TVS Motor Company, in association with its TVS Apache customers created the “Longest Chequered Flag” spanning a length of 957 feet. 

TVS Motor Company sourced that pictures from their customers around the world and created a long flag using over 2,000 images. The chequered flag has set the record in the Asia Book of Records and India Book of Records for creating the longest chequered flag at its TVS Mysore Factory. Recently, The TVS Apache Owners Group is a collective of like-minded people with a brotherhood of over 30,000 people spanning across 52 cities in India and major international markets.

TVS Apache Series consists of two categories – Naked and Super Sports. In the Naked RTR segment, the brand retails the TVS Apache RTR 160, TVS Apache RTR 160 4V, TVS Apache RTR 180 and TVS Apache RTR 200 4V. In the Super Sports segment, TVS retails the TVS Apache RR 310 (Race Replica) which comes with premium features like riding modes, throttle-by-wire technology, and TVS SmartXonnect enabled 5’-inch Vertical full-colour TFT display etc. 

Recently, the brand also introduced the new TVS Apache RTR 200 4V motorcycle with Super-Moto ABS at the price of INR 1,23,500 ex-showroom, Delhi. The RTR 200 4V comes with a single-channel ABS on the front wheel allowing the rider to slide the rear on the race track while having full control over the rear along with the anti-lock safety properties on the front.

TVS Motor Conpany also announced that the TVS Sport commuter motorcycle has achieved a new on-road mileage record of 110.12 kmpl. The new record on a 110cc motorcycle was confirmed as the ‘Highest on-road fuel efficiency achieved by a motorcycle’ in India Book of Records and Asia Book of Records.
