Ducati has launched the all-new Diavel 1260 power cruiser motorcycle in the Indian market. The new-generation model has been launched in two variants which include the Diavel 1260 for INR 17.70 lakh and the Diavel 1260S for INR 19.25 lakh ex-showroom. This is the 2nd generation Diavel motorcycle and brings to us a mix of a super naked motorcycle with cruiser like easy ergonomics. The Diavel model range has been quite unique and created a new segment for itself worldwide. The Diavel 1260 range now brings more power, more feature and better styling in the picture.
Powering the Ducati Diavel 1260 is a 1262cc, Testastretta DVT engine with liquid-cooling producing 159 HP of power and 129 Nm of torque matched to a 6-speed gearbox. The bike comes with variable cam timing with a chain-type drive and has improved low-medium acceleration. The bike rides on a steel trellis chassis and sports an aluminium swing arm and has a 240mm wide rear tyre riding on 17″ wheels which is unlike any other motorcycle.
Electronics package on the Ducati Diavel 1260 includes riding modes, power modes, Bosch Cornering ABS EVO, Traction Control, Wheelie Control, Launch Control, Cruise Control, Quickshifter Up/Down, full digital colour TFT dashboard with split design and a Bosch 6-axis IMU. The bike sports LED headlamps and tail lamps, with a high handlebar, large contoured seat, mid-mounted foot pegs, increased rear wheel travel for comfort, wide pillion seat with back rest accessory.
The standard Ducati Diavel 1260 will get a 50mm fully adjustable USD front fork, rear monoshock with preload and rebound adjustment, Brembo M4.32 callipers, cast alloy rims. The Ducati Diavel 1260S will get a 48mm Ohlins fully adjustable USD front fork, M50 Brembo callipers, cast & machined alloy wheels and seats with a premium badge.
Colours available for the Ducati 1260 motorcycle range includes sandstone grey as a common shade and an additional option of Thrilling Black & Dark Stealth for the Ducati Diavel 1260S.
