Austrian manufacturer KTM has revealed the production version of the 790 Adventure R Rally. The 790 Adventure R Rally has been limited to 500 units worldwide and the top-spec motorcycle is targeted towards motorcycle collectors and hardcore off-road enthusiasts. The 790 Adventure R Rally will come with over the top features and will be armed to the teeth with top of the line parts.

In terms of mechanical hardware, the KTM 790 Adventure R Rally features XPLOR PRO inverted forks on the front which add 30mm of travel on top of the standard suspension which gives a larger range and improved ride quality. The rear is also equipped with a XPLOR PRO shock absorber unit with progressive damping. The setup has increased the ride height and the seat is now positioned at 910mm.

The chassis is expected to be the same Chrome-Molybdenum-Steel frame which uses the engine as a stressed member wrapped around the 799cc parallel-twin, liquid-cooled motor, an 8-valve cylinder head with chain-driven DOHC and a crankshaft balancer to reduce the vibrations. The engine delivers 94 Hp of power and 88 Nm of torque coupled to a 6-speed transmission with a slipper assist clutch. The Engine is expected to be shared with the 790 Adventure R.

Additionally, the 790 Adventure R Rally gets a lighter Akrapovic exhaust can and carbon fibre tank protectors. Also, the Rally model will include narrow rims with tubes, a straight racing saddle, bigger rally footpegs, special racing livery, clear windscreen, winglets among other features.

The 790 Adventure R Rally is also expected to get an advanced electronics package which consists of an off-road mode with disengageable Bosch 9MP two-channel ABS, lean-angle-sensing traction control, launch control, four riding modes and Quickshifter plus among other features.

The price is yet to be announced and it is expected to be sold in the international market as soon as it is launched which is expected to be around the end of this year.
