Audi adds service centre in Vijaywada under ‘Workshop First’ strategy

German luxury car manufacturer, Audi has announced its ‘workshop first’ strategy in India on 17th April 2019. ‘Workshop First’ means Audi will install a service workshop before opening a showroom, which shows the brand’s commitment towards its customers. The first Audi Service under the ‘Workshop First’ strategy will be inaugurated in Vijayawada.

The state-of-the-art facility will have 7 bays, which are capable of servicing 14 cars per day in a single shift. The Vijayawada facility will also include a body shop and the workshop will be spread across 9,600 Sq, Ft. The Audi Service in Vijayawada is located at Plot No. 229/1A, NH5, Opp. Checkpost, Gudavalli, Vijayawada-521104, Andhra Pradesh. The new service facility will further strengthen Audi’s commitment towards customer service in the Andhra Pradesh as well as the South Indian region.

Under this new strategy, Audi will enter the tier-2 and tier-3 cities where it will first open its workshops and then gradually open showrooms with a ‘Service First Promise’.

The Audi group comprises of Audi, Lamborghini and Ducati and has its presence in over 100 countries worldwide and has 18 production plants in 13 countries. Audi group has delivered 1.812 million Audi cars, 5,750 Lamborghini sports cars and 53,004 Ducati Motorcycles in 2018. Audi employs 90,000 people all over the world out of which 60,000 are in Germany. Audi AG have achieved an operating profit of 5.1 Billion Euros and a total revenue of 60.1 Billion Euros.
