Italian motorcycle brand Benelli has hiked the prices of their newly launched TRK series. The TRK 502 was priced at INR 5 lakh Ex-Showroom, India and the TRK 502X was priced INR 5.4 lakh Ex-Showroom, India. This was an introductory price set by the company in February 2019 at the time of its launch and in the first 15 days, it received 150 bookings.
Benelli has now increased their prices on both the TRKs’ by INR 10,000, due to which, the TRK 502 will be now priced at INR 5.1 lakh and the TRK 502X at INR 5.5 lakh Ex-Showroom, India with effect from 21 April 2019.
The Benelli TRK 502 measures 2170mm in length, 1235mm in height with a seat height of 800mm and a wheelbase of 1525mm and the 502X measures 2211mm in length, 1495mm in height with a seat height of 825mm and the same 1525mm wheelbase. Both the bikes are powered by an Inline 2-cylinder, liquid-cooled, 4-valve DOHC motor with an engine displacement of 499.6cc which produces 47.5 PS of power @ 8500 RPM and 45 Nm of torque @ 5000 RPM mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The chassis is a steel tube trellis and has 50mm diameter upside down front fork and a monoshock with adjustable pre-load on the rear.
