2025 Suzuki Gixxer series & V-Strom SX launched in India

With a major lineup update, Suzuki Motorcycle India began the year by launching a selection of motorcycles that now comply with the upcoming OBD-2B (On-Board Diagnostics) emission standards. This update is a component of the brand’s dedication to improving the overall performance and sustainability of its vehicles while also conforming to more stringent environmental standards. The popular adventure bike V-Strom SX and the Gixxer line, which includes the Gixxer SF 250, Gixxer 250, Gixxer SF, and the basic Gixxer, are among the motorcycles that have been updated.

These models have exciting new colour options in addition to the mechanical upgrades to satisfy the new emissions criteria, giving riders more alternatives to fit their personal style.

2025 Suzuki V-Strom SX Features:

Three new colours are now available for the Suzuki V-Strom SX: Metallic Sonoma Red, Glass Sparkle Black, and Champion Yellow No. 2. The motorcycle’s ex-showroom price is INR 2,16,000, which is INR 3,000 more than it was previously.

The V-Strom SX has knuckle covers, an aluminium rear luggage rack, LED headlights, and a digital instrument cluster with Suzuki Ride Connect that is Bluetooth-enabled.

A 249cc single-cylinder, air-oil cooled engine that complies with OBD-2B standards powers the V-Strom SX. At 9,300 rpm, it produces 26.5 PS, and at 7,300 rpm, it produces 22.2 Nm.

2025 Suzuki Gixxer 250 features:

Metallic Triton Blue-Pearl Glacier White, Metallic Mat Black No.2, and Metallic Mat Bordeaux Red are the three new colours available for the Gixxer 250 and Gixxer SF 250. While the Gixxer SF 250 starts at INR 2,07,000 (ex-showroom), the Gixxer 250 is priced starting at INR 1,98,000.

The 250cc engine that powers the V-Storm SX is also compatible with OBD-2B. A 6-speed transmission, Dual Channel ABS, and a computerised instrument console with Bluetooth and Suzuki Ride Connect are extra features.

2025 Suzuki Gixxer 150 Features:

Glass Sparkle Black, Metallic Oort Gray-Metallic Lush Green, and Metallic Triton Blue-Pearl Glacier White are the three new colour options for the 150cc Gixxer and Gixxer SF models. The Gixxer costs INR 1,37,900, while the Gixxer SF costs INR 1,47,400 (ex-showroom).

The BS-VI engine that powers these motorcycles is OBD-2B compliant and generates 13.6 PS at 8,000 rpm and 13.8 Nm at 6,000 rpm. The motorcycles have a fully digital instrument console with LED headlights and tail lamps.
