The Mahindra XUV 3XO EV has been spotted testing with minimal camouflage, hinting at an imminent launch. The electric version of the compact SUV was first seen in August last year and has now been spotted again in Rourkela, Odisha.

XUV 3XO EV  – What to Expect?

The XUV 3XO EV retains the design elements of its ICE counterpart, featuring a split headlamp design with circular projectors and C-shaped LED DRLs. The SUV is equipped with aero-optimized alloy wheels, shark fin antenna, black roof rails, and ORVMs. Notably, it comes with a 360-degree camera system for enhanced parking and maneuvering.

The XUV 3XO electric SUV is expected to be powered by a 35 kWh battery pack, offering a range of around 375-400 kilometers on a full charge. It supports DC fast charging, ensuring quicker recharge times.

Interior and Technology

Inside, the XUV 3XO electric SUV features a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The cabin includes dual-zone automatic climate control, a fully digital instrument console, and a seven-speaker Harman Kardon audio system. The SUV also boasts adjustable headrests, a blind view monitor, and six airbags for safety.

XUV 3XO EV Market Positioning

The XUV 3XO electric SUV is positioned below the XUV400 in Mahindra’s lineup and is expected to compete with the Tata Nexon.EV and the MG Windsor EV. The launch is anticipated to take place this year, possibly early 2025. There is a chance that it will showcased at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo slated to kick-off on January 17.

Final Thoughts

With its impressive range, advanced features, and familiar design, the Mahindra XUV 3XO electric SUV is set to make a strong entry into the electric SUV market. Mahindra continues its EV product offensive and will be launching 3-5 more EVs before the year ends.
