Jitendra EV, a Nashik-based company, is getting ready to introduce Yunik, its first family electric scooter. The brand stated that the forthcoming scooter will be a high-speed model, meaning that it should be able to reach top speeds of at least 50 to 75 kmph, even though specifics are still being kept under wraps.
Jitendra EV’s upcoming Yunik electric scooter will be launched with the intention of competing against some of the prominent players in the electric two-wheeler market, such as the TVS iQube, Ampere Nexus, and Bajaj Chetak. These models have already established themselves in the market, offering a solid mix of performance, style, and reliability.
While Jitendra EV is set to introduce a competitive product in the form of the Yunik, it is important to note that, from a manufacturing and distribution perspective, it may take some time for the company to match the impressive monthly sales figures that these established competitors, including legacy manufacturers, have achieved thus far. This is mainly due to Jitendra EV’s relatively smaller market presence and more limited infrastructure, which will likely require time and effort to scale up.
