With the theme “Everyone as One,” India Bike Week (IBW) 2024, hosted by Gulf Syntrac, celebrated its 11th edition with an extraordinary two-day festival in Vagator, Goa, that brought together over 25,000 bike lovers. Racing competitions, an Overlanding stage, a music and community stage, and a dynamic venue divided into parts were all part of the event. The Gulf Moto Mayhem FMX Show, which enthralled the audience, was one of the highlights.
Race event winners:
There were also thrilling races and events at the festival. Yogesh P won the first prize of INR 5 lakhs in the Harley-Davidson Flat Track Race, followed by Yogi Chabbria and Satyaraj Arumugam. Russy Josy won INR 50,000 for winning the IBW Hill Climb, and Gigyun Benjamin won INR 25,000 for winning the IBW Dirt Dash. The event also included the Pulsar Stunt School by Ghostriders and the hazardous Pulsar Daredevil Bridge. The thrill was increased with interactive games such as Tiivra Action Games.
Unveiling at IBW 2024:
Major bike and accessory releases, such as the introduction of the Brixton VLF Scooter and KTM 390 Adventure S, also took place at IBW 2024. Rajputana Customs’ Vijay Singh unveiled a brand-new Harley-Davidson Flat Track Racer, and Moto Art Collective showcased creative motorcycle designs.
Motorcycling Legends:
Legends like Marc Travels, Elspeth Beard, and Xavier Simeon motivated guests with their personal motorcycle stories during their talks. Ankit Lamba’s “Chasing Dreams: 46 Countries on Two Wheels” session, for example, enthralled the audience with exciting adventure stories.
Music and fun at IBW 2024:
Gulf Syntrac’s Club Village welcomed more than 5,000 bikers and offered entertaining events. Radon Club took home the Club of the Year title, while Sayed Omer Siddique’s BURAAQ was named the Best Mod Bike. A custom-built Harley-Davidson sidecar was won by the Brotherhood Bikers Club in the J-One Motorcycle Contest, which honoured community spirit. The festival’s lively atmosphere was enhanced by the energetic music performances of Divine, OAFF, Savera, and Brodha V.
Generation Speed – New festival:
The organizers of IBW made the thrilling announcement that Generation Speed, India’s Motoring Festival, will be their new festival. This event, which is expected to be a celebration of all things automotive, will include 200 of India’s best automobiles as well as off-road vehicles, vintage sports cars, hypercars, electric vehicles, and more.
All things considered, IBW 2024 was an incredible celebration of bike culture, complete with exhilarating races, motivational speeches, first-look bike releases, and a vibrant sense of community. It proved to be the greatest motorcycle weekend of the year, further solidifying its reputation as India’s biggest motorcycle event.
