Tata Motors-owned Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) has launched the 2025 Range Rover Sport, assembled in India for the first time. Priced at INR 1.45 crore (ex-showroom), this luxury SUV is available in 5 colour options.

The 2025 Range Rover Sport is built at Tata Motors’ new INR 9,000 crore facility in Tamil Nadu. This plant will manufacture and export next-gen vehicles, creating over 5,000 jobs. The locally assembled SUV is expected to be more affordable than its imported counterparts.

The Range Rover Sport boasts a sturdy MLA-Flex architecture and comes with cutting-edge technologies such as air suspension, adaptive off-road cruise control, and all-wheel drive. It offers semi-aniline leather seats, massage front seats, and a heads-up display (HUD). The SUV also features digital LED headlights with adaptive front lighting and new low-speed maneuvering lights.

Buyers can choose between two engine options: a 3.0-liter petrol Dynamic SE with 394 bhp and 550 Nm of torque, and a 3.0-liter diesel Dynamic SE with 346 bhp and 700 Nm of torque. Both engines come with an 8-speed automatic gearbox and 4×4 technology.

The luxury SUV is equipped with advanced technology and safety features, ensuring a top-notch driving experience. The SUV includes a 13.1-inch Touch Pro Duo infotainment system, 14-way adjustable seats, and a premium Meridian sound system. Safety features comprise adaptive cruise control, emergency braking, lane keep assist, and traffic sign recognition.

The launch of the locally assembled Range Rover Sport is a significant step for Tata Motors and JLR.
