Hero MotoCorp has made a decision to withdraw the Xpulse 200T and the Xtreme 200S 4V from its lineup of motorcycles.

Hero MotoCorp Xpulse 200T and the Xtreme 200S 4V discontinuation:

The Hero’s website no longer lists the models Xpulse 200T and Xtreme 200S 4V. However, Hero MotoCorp has not yet released an official comment. 200T was launched in december 2022. Since its debut, the 200T has showcased mediocre sales performance. It was ultimately overshadowed by the Xpulse 200 4V. However, even 200S 4V failed to capture the Indian customer’s attention and faced low demand. Let’s see what features were offered by these bikes.

Xpulse 200T

Xpulse 200T features:

Xpulse 200T was introduced at a starting price of INR 1.30 lakh ex-showroom. It was propelled by a 199.6 cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled, 4-valve engine. It was mated to a five-speed gearbox. This engine unit produced 19 bhp at 8,500 rpm and a maximum torque of 17.35 Nm at 6,500 rpm.

The Xpulse 200T rode on 17-inch alloy wheels and was essentially the adventure bike’s more road-focused counterpart. To enable a more upright riding position, the 200T also featured centre-set footpegs along with a lower handlebar. Additionally, the motorcycle’s proportions differed slightly from those of the Xpulse 200 4V, including a longer wheelbase.

Xtreme 200S

Xtreme 200S 4V features:

On the other hand, 200S 4V had a 199.6 cc oil-cooled engine that generated 19 bhp at 8500 rpm and 17.35 Nm of torque at 6500 rpm. This motorbike was similarly equipped with a five-speed gearbox. It was introduced at the starting price of INR 1.41 lakh ex-showroom. The Xtreme 200S was a semi-faired motorbike that wasn’t updated since July 2023. At EICMA 2024, Hero MotoCorp unveiled three new motorcycles: the Karizma 250, Xtreme 250, and Xpulse 210. The Destini 125, which was introduced earlier this year, is also anticipated to be released soon by the company.
