Skoda Kylaq SUV bags 10,000 bookings in 10 days

In just 10 days after bookings opened, Skoda Auto India’s recently released sub-4-meter SUV, the Kylaq, has bagged 10,000 bookings. This milestone highlights the growing demand for Skoda’s most recent SUV in the cutthroat Indian market. As a part of the celebration of this achievement, Skoda Auto India is planning to introduce a nationwide ‘Dream Tour’. This tour will be a 43-day statewide campaign to engage with prospective buyers and showcase the Kylaq in different parts of the nation.

Skoda Kylaq ‘Dream Tour’: 

Three Kylaq SUVs will be on the tour, which will begin on December 13, 2024, in the Škoda Chakan plant. They will travel through roughly 70 cities on various routes. Cities covered in the West-South route will be Pune, Kolhapur, Panaji, Mangaluru, Mysuru, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad. And in the West-North route, the cities of Mumbai, Surat, Vadodara, Ahmedabad, and Delhi will covered. The third route will travel through eastern towns including Kolkata, Nagpur, and Nashik. By January 25, 2025, the vehicles will be brought back to the Chakan facility.

Static displays in strategic cities will be available which will give the customers the opportunity to see the Kylaq’s features and design up close during the trip. The official date of the SUV’s arrival in the dealership market is January 27, 2025. In order to increase anticipation for Kylaq’s introduction, this project attempts to provide prospective customers with a close look at the vehicle and its unique modern solid design language.

Skoda Kylaq Specifications: 

The Kylaq has a 1-litre TSI petrol engine that produces 114 bhp of power and 178 Nm of torque. This engine unit is mated to a 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmission. Further, it comes with features like LED headlamps, LED DRLs, electric sunroof, USB charging ports, ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) and EBD ( Electronic Brake Distribution)
