Kia Syros is expected to be unveiled at Bharat Mobility Expo 2025. Ahead of its unveiling, the Kia has shared a teaser that has given out some significant details. Also, according to reports, Syros will have a reclining rear seat. Let’s see all the other features that we are going to get in Kia Syros
Kia Syros powertrain:
It will come in petrol and diesel options. The 1-litre single-cylinder petrol engine will generate 118 bhp of power and 172 Nm of torque. This engine unit is mated to a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Further, the 1.5-litre diesel engine will generate 116 bhp of power and 250 Nm of torque. This unit is mated to a 6-speed manual and 6-speed torque-converted automatic transmission.

In the shared teaser one can see that Syros will have an engine start/stop push button. It will also have a 360-degree parking camera, panoramic sunroof, wireless charger and twin USB type C ports. Ambient lights and a riding mode for specific terrain. Past teasers have also showcased that it will come with L-shaped LED tail lights, a shark fin antenna and bulky-looking body cladding.
It also has features like automatic climate control, a touchscreen infotainment system, a TFT driver display, ISOFIX child seat mount. The infotainment system is backed up by Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Possibly it could also have ADAS.
Kia Syros rivals:
The Syros is positioned between Sonet and Seltos and ultimately it will rival sub-SUVs like Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue and Skoda Kylaq.
Maruti Suzuki Brezza was launched at a starting price of INR 8.34 lakh (ex showroom), Mahindra XUV 3XO at INR 7.79 lakh (ex-showroom), Tata Nexon at INR 9 lakh (ex-showroom), Hyundai Venue at INR 7.94 lakh (ex-showroom) and Skoda Kylaq at 7.89 lakh (ex-showroom).
