Royal Enfield Scram 440 Vs. Scram 411 – What has changed? Specs comparison

Royal Enfield Scram 440 had its unveiling at Motoverse 2024 and will be launched in the new year around March. In appearance it looks similar to Scram 411; however, it has received upgrades in the engine and gearbox. Let’s see how different it is from the Scram 411 and what features it offers so that you can make a better buying decision.

Royal Enfield Scram 440 vs Royal Enfield Scram 441: Powertrain difference

The Scram 411 has a 411cc single cylinder liquid cooled engine that generates 24.3 bhp of power at 6500 rpm and 32 Nm of torque at 4250 rpm. On the other hand, Scram 440 is clearly a bit more powerful than Scram 411, with a 443 cc single-cylinder engine that generates the power of 25.4 bhp at 6,250 rpm and a torque of 34 Nm at 4,000 rpm. The Scram 411 has a five-speed gearbox and the Scram 440 has a 6-speed gearbox.

Specification difference

Scram 440 gets a revised frame, tweaked front brakes and lighter clutch for better performance. The motorcycle is being offered with two-wheel options: alloy wheels with tubeless tyres and spoke wheels with tube CEAT tyres. 

However, the suspension are same as Scram 411; telescopic front forks and mono-shock absorber. The Scram is available in 5 colour options: Force Blue, Force Grey, Force Teal, Trail Green, and Trail Blue. Scram 411 has wider colour options of 7: Graphite Blue, Graphite Red, Blazing Black, Skyline Blue, White Flame and Silver Spirit. In terms of safety features, it has got dual channel ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System) and disc brakes at both front and rear.

Royal Enfield Scram 440 vs Royal Enfield Scram 441: Pricing

The Scram 441 is available at the starting price of INR 2.06 lakh (ex showroom). However, it seems that Scram 440 will likely be on the higher side of price due to all the upgrades it has received.
