Citroen discontinues C5 Aircross base ‘Feel’ variants in India?

Citroen has announced the discontinuation of the base variant of C5 aircross ‘feel’. Citroen C5 aircross was launched in India in 2021 and after almost three years they have decided to conclude the sale of its base variant. The C5 aircross ‘Feel’ variant used to cost just 3 lakh less than the top spec variant C5 aircross ‘Shine’ and also lacked many features which were offered by ‘Shine’. Now only the top spec variant is available in the market.

C5 Aircross engine: 

C5 aircross comes with a 2-litre diesel engine that generates the power of 175 bhp at 3750 rpm and a torque of 400 Nm at 2000 rpm. It has a 8 speed automatic gearbox and two driving modes: Eco and sport.

The car has electrically adjustable front seats, automatic climate control along with air quality control, cruise control, parking sensors both at rear and front, keyless entry function

When it comes to exterior the SUV has an upper grille with matt black finish, Panoramic sunroof, fog lights at front and rear, alloy wheels with tubeless and radial tyres, LED headlamps and taillamps, LED Daytime Running Lamps, LED fog lamps.

Interior:

The car has a 12.29-inch digital instrument cluster, leatherette upholstery, satin chrome door handles, dual LED reading lights at rear, LED ambient lights, LED welcome lights, USB charging port at front and rear, USB charging port at front and rear, wireless charging pod, Android auto and Apple Carplay connectivity, 6 speakers. 

Safety features: 

Citroen C5 has scored 4 star ratings in the NCAP test. It comes with various safety features that includes child safety locks, Anti theft device, ABS, traction control, airbags at driver and passenger seats as well as to the sides and curtains, TPMS ( Tyre Pressure Monitoring System), ESC (Electronic Stability Control), EBD ( Electronic Brakeforce Distribution), and some other features.
