Aprilia unveiled an exciting new range of 125cc motorcycles, aimed at attracting a younger generation of riders. The new lineup includes the RX125 adventure bike and the SX125 supermoto.
RX125 Adventure Bike
The RX125 is designed for off-road enthusiasts and features a single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that produces 15 bhp at 10,000 rpm and 11.2 Nm of torque at 8,000 rpm. The bike is equipped with 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wheels, dual-purpose tires, and a 6-speed gearbox. The RX125 also boasts a 7-litre fuel tank and weighs 134kg, making it a practical urban product.
SX125 Supermoto
The SX125 is tailored for urban and road use, featuring a 17-inch combination wheel setup and road-biased tires. It is powered by the same engine as the RX125 and shares the same gearbox. The SX125 gets a 300mm front brake disc and a 220mm rear disc with a floating caliper. The bike is available in five colors: silver, white, red, yellow, and another shade of silver.
Design and Styling

Market Strategy
Aprilia aims to capture the market with these new models by offering a blend of performance, style, and affordability. The company believes that the RX125 and SX125 will appeal to younger riders looking for adventure and urban bikes.
Aprilia has not announced any plans to bring them to India. However, we feel that these could turn out to be good options for customers interested in the Hero Xpulse 210 and the newly launched Kawasaki KLX 230. It is quite evident by now that India has a market for such motorcycles and Aprilia should consider bringing them here.
