Written by Nizam Shaikh

Royal Enfield unveiled the Flying Flea C6 electric motorcycle. Now the brand has also teased a second electric motorcycle based on the Flying Flea C6. This new motorcycle comes in the Scrambler form. Reports also suggest that the Flying Flea in the Scrambler form is likely to be known as the Flying Flea S6 and comes with a completely new design and mechanical equipment when compared to the Flying Flea C6 that the brand has officially revealed.

How is it Different from the Flying Flea C6?

The Flying Flea S6 which is a scrambler style electric bike features a dirt motorcycle type design and gets a single bench seat. The teaser photo also reveals a wide and upright handlebar and high mount mudguard on both the front and rear. In addition to this, the Flying Flea C6 is likely to come with USD front fork suspension as opposed to the aluminum girder front suspension on the Flying Flea C6.

The rear suspension mechanics are likely to be similar but the scrambler bike is likely to come with a longer travel strut. The S6 is also likely to come with wire spoke wheels shod in dual sport tyres while the C6 comes with alloy wheels and road spec rubber. Thanks to the long travel suspension, the Flying Flea S6 is also likely to come with ample ground clearance allowing the rider to traverse over rough roads and go out on trails with ease.

When Will It Launch?

While the motor and battery details are still scarce, images reveal that the Flying Flea S6 is likely to come with a chain drive instead of a rubber belt drive as seen on the C6 making it more durable off roads. Like the Flying Flea C6 the S6 is also likely to come with a full colour TFT instruments panel, traction control as well as ABS.

Reports reveal that Royal Enfield Flying Flea S6 scrambler motorcycle is likely to make its market debut in 2027 after the Flying Flea C6.
