Kawasaki reveals new Ninja 1100 SX

Written by Nizam Shaikh

Kawasaki has unveiled the new Kawasaki Ninja 110 SX in the international market. Speculation is that the new model is likely to be soon launched in the Indian market, due to its high demand here. The 2025 Kawasaki Ninja 1100 SX comes with comprehensive updates to its engine, however, the motorcycle visually looks the same.

Powertrain

Powering the 2025 Kawasaki Ninja 1100 SX is a new 1099cc in-line four-cylinder engine. The motor produces 136 Bhp of power and 113 Nm of torque. The updated engine now makes less power than before but more torque. The engine torque curve has also been improved across the rev range. The motorcycle comes with a 6-speed gearbox with a quick shifter that now operates from 1500 rpm onwards, enabling low speed and city use as well. The 5th and 6th gears are also taller to allow for cruising at low engine speeds.

Variants and Features

The new Ninja 1100 SX also comes with a sharp fairing like before as well as twin LED headlamps similar to the outgoing model. The side panel and tail section is also similar to the outgoing model. The 2025 Kawasaki Ninja 1100 SX comes with two variants – Standard and SE. The SE model comes with Ohlins S36 adjustable mono shock on the rear as well as Brembo Monobloc 4.32 calipers for the front brake. The new Kawasaki Ninja 1100 SX also comes with Bridgestone Battlax tyres. However, if this will be available in the Indian market when it comes here is still a question.

Kawasaki has also delisted the Kawasaki Ninja 1000 SX from its product portfolio online. This leads us to believe that the new Kawasaki Ninja 1100 SX is likely to arrive soon here with all the updates available internationally. Expect a slight bump in price as well when it is launched here. The motorcycle is likely to make its debut at the India Bike Week in December 2024.
