MY25 Triumph Trident 660 revealed with more tech

Written by News Team

Triumph Motorcycles has unveiled the MY25 Trident 660, bringing a host of new features and technological upgrades to its popular middleweight naked roadster. The updated model retains its core design but introduces several enhancements aimed at improving rider comfort and performance.

Design and Color Options

While the overall design of the Trident 660 remains largely unchanged, the MY25 variant introduces three new color options: Cosmic Yellow, Cobalt Blue, and Diablo Red. These fresh shades add a vibrant touch to the bike’s already sleek and street-naked look.

Suspension and Ride Quality

One of the most significant updates is the new suspension setup. The MY25 Trident 660 now comes with 41mm Showa Separate Function Fork Big Piston (SFF-BP) forks as standard, replacing the previous SFF units. This change is expected to enhance ride quality and handling, providing a more comfortable and stable ride.

Electronic Aids and Rider Assistance

The MY25 Trident 660 also features new electronic aids, including standard cruise control, traction control, and cornering ABS. These additions are designed to enhance safety and control, making the bike more suitable for a variety of riding conditions.

Quickshifter and Additional Features

Another notable upgrade is the inclusion of a bi-directional quickshifter as standard. This feature allows for smoother and faster gear changes, improving the overall riding experience. Additionally, the MY25 Trident 660 retains its 660cc triple-cylinder engine, which produces 80 bhp and 64 Nm of torque.

Market Impact and Customer Reception

The MY25 Trident 660 is expected to be well-received by riders who appreciate the blend of performance, technology, and style. With its updated features and new color options, the MY25 variant is likely to attract both new and existing customers, further solidifying Triumph’s position in the middleweight motorcycle segment.

Our Thoughts

The MY25 Triumph Trident 660 represents a significant upgrade over its predecessor, offering more tech and standard equipment without compromising on performance. With its enhanced suspension, new electronic aids, and fresh color options, the MY25 Trident 660 is set to be a compelling choice for riders looking for a versatile and high-tech roadster.
