Mahindra & Mahindra has announced an exciting update for its popular Thar Roxx 4×4 variants. Starting this month, customers can opt for a new Mocha Brown interior trim.
A Response to Customer Feedback
The introduction of the Mocha Brown interior comes as a direct response to customer feedback. The existing Ivory interior, while stylish, was found to be less practical for an off-road vehicle due to its tendency to show dirt and stains more easily. The new Mocha Brown option addresses these concerns, offering a darker, more durable alternative that maintains the Thar Roxx’s premium feel.
Exclusive to 4×4 Variants
The Mocha Brown interior will be exclusive to the 4×4 variants of the Thar Roxx. This new trim option will be available at no additional cost, providing customers with more choices without impacting their budget. The interior features leatherette seats, a color-coordinated theme, and gloss black trim on the steering wheel, replacing the previous silver accents.
Availability and Booking
Customers can choose the interior color option at the time of booking, starting at 11 am on October 3, 2024. Deliveries of the Thar Roxx with the Ivory interior will begin this month, while those opting for the Mocha Brown interior will have to wait until the end of January 2025.
Engine and Performance
The Thar Roxx 4×4 is powered by a 2.2-litre diesel engine, available in two states of tune. The 6-speed manual variants deliver 150 BHP and 300 Nm of torque, while the 6-speed automatic variants offer 172 BHP and 370 Nm of torque. This robust powertrain ensures that the Thar Roxx remains a formidable contender in the off-road segment.
Pricing and Variants
The Mahindra Thar Roxx is available in four variants, with prices starting at INR 18.79 lakh (ex-showroom). The introduction of the Mocha Brown interior is expected to enhance the appeal of the Thar Roxx, making it an even more attractive option for adventure enthusiasts and urban explorers alike.
