Rolls-Royce Cullinan Series II launched in India

Rolls Royce has launched the Cullinan Series II in the Indian market at the starting price of just INR 10.50 Crore ex-showroom. However, the Black Badge Cullinan Series II comes with starting price tag of INR 12.25 Crore ex-showroom. Furthermore, the brand also revealed that deliveries for clients in India will commence from Q4 of 2024 from Rolls Royce Motor Cars Chennai.

World’s First Super-Luxury SUV

The Rolls Royce SUV made its debut in 2018, becoming the first super-luxury SUV in the World. The Cullinan Series II not only features a large and wide stance but also comes with off-road capabilities allowing the super-luxury car to go even to the most demanding and hostile environments on earth. Also, the Cullinan Series II comes with ‘Magic Carpet Ride’ that regardless of terrain delivers a comfortable ride.

Cullinan Series II Special Features

The interior of the Cullinan Series II took four years to develop and incorporates the Spirit of Ecstasy unifying analogue and digital craftspeople. The car also features a meticulously orchestrated flow of light beginning with the light up sequence of the driver’s display upon entering the motor car, followed by the Central Information Display and then the Illuminated Fascia. The light also sweeps inwards lighting the timepiece. The Spirit of Ecstasy also gets stage lighting with a soft glow. The Cullinan Series II also comes with Placed Perforation which are 107,000 perforations, each measuring 0.8 to 1.2 millimeters on the leather upholstery.

Powertrain

Powering the Rolls Royce Cullinan Series II is a twin-turbocharged 6.75-litre V12 engine that produces 600 PS of power and 900 Nm of torque. The engine is matched to a ZF 8-speed automatic gearbox and comes ‘Low’ button on the gear selection stalk using which all the torque is available right from 1700 rpms. This mode also alters the tone and volume of the exhaust system.
