2024 Maruti Suzuki Dzire fully revealed in spyshots before launch

Maruti Suzuki is planning to launch the new Dzire soon in the Indian market. Earlier, spy shots of the Maruti Dzire had emerged on the internet however that was a fully camouflaged mule. Now, the Maruti Suzuki Dzire sans camouflage has been spotted which reveals some more details of the sedan. While the Swift and the Dzire bot share the Heartect platform, the Dzire is likely to have plenty of differentiating factors from its hatchback sibling.

Design & Features

Design-wise, the Maruti Suzuki Dzire will come with a completely new front fascia with a large grille and slim LED headlamps. The bumper has also been redesigned and the car features a sportier look than before. The Dzire also features blacked out elements on the fascia as seen in the uncamouflaged spy shots. The Dzire also comes with a wraparound taillamp and sharp cuts and crease lines. Features wise the Dzire is also likely to get a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system and automatic climate control system. The drivers display features analogue instruments as well as a 4.2-inch digital information display. In addition to all this, the new Maruti Suzuki Dzire is also likely to come with a sunroof.

Powertrain

In the powertrain department, the Maruti Suzuki Dzire is likely to come with the new Z-Series engine that made its debut on the Maruti Suzuki Swift. The new engine was also recently introduced with CNG fuel option. In its petrol avatar, the engine produces 82 Hp of power and 112 Nm of torque. With the CNG fuel the engine is capable of making 69,75 Hp of power and 101.8 Nm of torque. While the petrol variants get both 5-speed manual and AMT options the CNG Dzire is likely to come with only a manual transmission on offer.

Price & Competition

Expect the Maruti Suzuki Dzire to come with a price tag between INR 7 lakh to 10 lakh ex-showroom and compete with the Honda Amaze, Tata Tigor and the Hyundai Aura in the Indian market.
