Hyundai confirms N Vision 74 supercar for production

Hyundai has revealed that N Vision 74 Supercar which will soon go into production as part of Hyundai’s 21 new models which will be launched by 2030. According to reports, Hyundai at the annual CEO and Investor Day presentation mentioned that the N Vision 74 will become one of the brand’s future high performance electric vehicles.

In the past, rumors were that the N Vision 74 will be put into limited production with just 100 units for sale out of which 70 will be for road use and 30. While speculation was that Hyundai is likely offer an all-electric powertrain with the N Vision 74, but due to its limited production, Hyundai is likely to retain its plans for the Hydrogen-Fuel-Cell powertrain.

Testing

Hyundai on its official website has also revealed the powertrain specifications for the N Vision 74 and the N Vision 74 is likely to be undergoing tests at the Namyang development centre. However, road testing has not yet commenced as no test mules of the same have been spotted on road. Also, the brand has not officially revealed when it plans to launch the N Vision 74.

Powertrain Specifications

Powering the production-version of the Hyundai N Vision 74 is likely to be a Fuel Cell Electric powertrain with 85kW fuel cell stack. This will produce over 500 kW of power and over 800 Nm of torque. The FCEV will come with RWD assisted with twin motors and e-TVTM (electronic Torque Vectoring by Twin Motors) with 235kW motors on each rear wheel. The car also gets a 3 channel cooling system, for heat management of the PE system. Also, the N Vision 74 will be capable of achieving speeds of over 250 kmph while delivering 600 km of range on a single charge thanks to the 62.4 kWh battery pack. Also, the Hydrogen-powered vehicle can be refueled to up to 80% SOF in just 5 minutes.
