2024 Tata Curvv.EV launched in India, electric coupe SUV for masses

Tata has launched the Curvv.EV in the Indian market at the price of INR 17.49 lakh ex-showroom. Tata Motors has also announced that the bookings for the Curvv.EV will commence on 12th August from all Tata Motor Dealerships in the Indian market.

Tata Curvv.EV – Design

The Tata Curvv.EV comes with a coupe SUV design with a notchback styled rear and a sharp front end with a muscular stance. The electric SUV also features a sloping roofline and bold wheel arches that house 18-inch alloy wheels shod in 215/55 tyres.

Exterior Features

On the outside, the Curvv.EV also comes with an aero optimised front bumper, silver accents on the air dam, projector LED headlamps. connected LED DRLs and dynamic turn indicators. In addition to this, the connected LEDs on the front also indicate the State of Charge of the vehicle while on charge. The brand has also added lights on the flush mounted door handles so that you can find them even if the car is parked in a very dark spot.

Key Features

On the feature front, the Tata Curvv.EV also comes with a panoramic sunroof, Level 2 ADAS features, AVAS (Acoustic Vehicle Alerting System), 10.25-inch digital instruments cluster and a 12.3-inch central touchscreen infotainment system. In addition to this, the car also comes with wireless smartphone charging, electric parking brake and more. The Tata Curvv.EV also comes with an auto closing charging port, electric tail gate, electric parking brake with auto hold, and a 500-litre boot.

Powertrain Specifications

Powering the Tata Curvv.EV is a 123 kW electric motor which is paired with two battery options. A 45 kW battery as well as a 55 kW option. The 45 kW battery claims to offer an ARAI certified range of 502 km on a single charge. The 55 kW battery option offers an ARAI claimed range of 585 km on a single charge.
