MW Motors a brand from the Czech Republic has unveiled the Spartan 2.0 EV. The MW Motors Spartan 2.0 EV is based on the Force Gurkha. The company’s first Spartan electric vehicle was a conversion of the UAZ Hunter. Reports suggest that MW Motor’ engineers and took the feedback from the Russian military vehicle to further develop the Spartan 2.0 EV. MW Motors uses the Chassis, Bodyshell suspension and the off-road drivetrain from Force Motors. The battery for the Spartan 2.0 EV is sourced from China and the remaining SUV is made by MW Motors.
MW Motors Spartan 2.0 EV – Technical Specifications
Powering the Spartan 2.0 EV is a single electric motor. The electric motor directly powers the gearbox and is capable of transmitting 176 Hp of power and a whopping 1,075 Nm of torque. The power is sent to the wheels using a transfer case with a selectable 2-wheel or 4-wheel drive.
In addition to this, the Spartan 2.0 EV also gets low and high ratio for its 4×4. The brand offers a 57.4 kWh battery pack that claims a range of 240 km on a single charge. The SUV can recharge at the rate of 90 kW per hour which can charge the battery from 20% to 80% in close to half an hour.
In terms of measurements, the Spartan 2.0 EV measure 4,116mm long. The electric SEV can load upto 1,025kg and tow upto 3,000kg. The kerb weight of the vehicle is 2,350kg and the off-road friendly Spartan 2.0 EV comes with a 38 degree approach angle, 25 degree breaker angle and 38 departure angle.
MW Motors Spartan 2.0 EV – Features
The MW Spartan 2.0 EV also comes with creature comfort features such as a touchscreen instruments system and digital MID. The EV also gets LED lighting, air-conditioning, two-way adjustable steering wheel, power windows etc. The Spartan 2.0 EV also comes with a separate cargo hold and a 230V outlet to charge and use equipment such as power tools.
