Prices for the Harley-Davidson X440 start from INR 2.29 lakh ex-showroom. This is the most affordable Harley-Davidson motorcycle to be sold worldwide, and it will be available in 3 variants.

Hero MotoCorp has launched the Harley-Davidson X440 in India in 3 variants. The HD X440 Denim is the base variant with prices starting from INR 2.29 lakh. The HD X440 Vivid is the mid-variant priced at INR 2.49 lakh ex-showroom. And finally you have the top spec HD 440X S variant priced at INR 2.69 lakh ex-showroom. Pricing is very competitive, and most potential buyers will compare this against the Royal Enfield Hunter 350, Meteor 350 & Classic 350.
HD X440 Denim is available in mustard yellow, Vivid variant is in red & dark silver and the X440 S variant is available only in a matte black colour.
Harley-Davidson X440 Engine:
Powering this motorcycle is an all-new engine, Made-in-India. This produces 27 BHP of power @ 6000 RPM and 38 Nm of torque @ 4000 RPM. This engine is oil-cooled, and you can see the machined cooling fins on the single-cylinder as well. The motor is a 440cc, air-oil-cooled unit and comes coupled to a single side exhaust pipe. Engine oil capacity is 2.25L.

Harley-Davidson’s smallest motorcycle, this HD X440 measures 2168mm in length, 805mm in seat height, 170mm in ground clearance, wheelbase of 1418mm, 18″ front wheel, 17″ rear wheel, 13.5L tank capacity and running order weight of 190.5 kg.
The bike rides on a KYB USD 43mm front fork and dual gas charged rear shock absorbers with 7-step preload adjustment. The front disc is 320mm and rear disc is 240mm coupled with dual channel ABS as a safety feature.
Harley-Davidson X440 Features:
Features include all-LED lights, LED DRLs with Harley-Davidson branding in the headlamp, 3.5″ round TFT speedometer cluster which shows information such as range, mileage, gear indicator, speedometer, etc. The bike also features HD connect Service and allows for turn-by-turn navigation, call & message alerts and music control. There’s also a USB charging point available.
The base Denim variant comes with spoke wheels, alloy wheels for the mid variant and diamond cut wheels for the top spec trim. Features include auto headlamp, ABS, USB point, 3 tank medallion, brone engine finish, etc.
