Royal Enfield launched the Super Meteor 650 just a few months ago. And now the two-wheeler maker has silently increased the prices. With this in effect, the Super Meteor 650 has got expensive by about INR 5,000 for all three variants.
RE Super Meteor 650 Price Hike Details
Astral trim is the most affordable variant of the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650. This trim now costs INR 3.54 lakh. Then we have the mid-spec Interstellar variant, which retails with a price tag of INR 3.69 lakh. And lastly, we have the range-topping Celestial variant which will now carry a price tag of INR 3.84 lakh.
Customers can have the entry-level Astral in three single-tone colours. These are, black, blue and green. For the mid-tier Interstellar, the available colour options are two grey and green dual-tone paint options. Other than that, the base and mid-spec variants are mechanically identical to one another. Talking of the top-spec Celestial trim that gets a few accessories as standard. This includes a large front windscreen, touring seat and pillion backrest.
Super Meteor 650 – Key Highlights
The Super Meteor 650 uses an air/oil-cooled, 648cc, parallel-twin engine. This motor makes 47 HP and 52Nm. Weighing 241 kg, Super Meteor 650 is the heaviest modern-day Royal Enfield. In fact, it is also the only offering to come standard with the Tripper navigation pod. Braking power comes from both front and rear disc brakes.
Meanwhile, the anti-locking braking system is a standard fitment with the Super Meteor 650. Standard features on the Royal Enfield are not a very long list, but it does get all the necessities. This includes a LED headlight set-up and a semi-digital instrument cluster with Royal Enfield’s Tripper Navigation system. This tech works with Google Maps and shows turn-by-turn directions. The Super Meteor 650 retails with an aggressive price quotient. The other options in the segment include the Kawasaki Vulcan S and the Benelli 502C.
