Hero Motocorp’s EV channel makes it into the world record book by setting up a new Guinness World Records Title. This gives the brand much-needed exposure in this cut-throat electric vehicle industry. As for the record, the company’s first electric vehicle, the Vida V1 scooter, ran for 24 hours non-stop. It broke the current exisiting world record for maximum distance achieved by nearly 350 km.

As for the official citation of the record it reads as follows. “The greatest distance on an electric scooter in 24 hours by a team in a relay is 1780 kms (1106.04 mi) and was achieved by Hero MotoCorp’s Vida V1, at Hero Centre for Innovation and Technology (CIT) Jaipur, India from 20 to 21 April 2023.”
Vida was so delighted to receive this world record title. set It pretty much indicates the robust testing of the product. Hero aims to set up Vida as an EV for all across the world. The Vida V1 has not received a performance and endurance-oriented world record. This should provide a push to the entire EV industry

This world record was set on the test tracks of Hero MotoCorp’s state-of-the-art R&D facility, the CIT. It was set up under the supervision of 6 riders.
Vida’s Future Expansion Plans
As for the future, Vida has massive plans to increase its presence to 100 cities. This will happen within this calendar year, 2023. Vida will also make use of Hero MotoCorp’s expansive dealer network to rapidly expand its operations across the country.
