Citroen India brings in the turbo variant of its entry-level hatchback, the C3. This turbo-petrol engine is now BS6 Phase 2 norm compliant. As per the ARAI-claimed fuel efficiency test, it returns a claimed mileage of 19.3kmpl. With the new variant, the C3 turbo retails with a starting price of INR 8.28 lakh (ex-showroom) in India.

Citroen has now introduced the Shine variant in the turbo-petrol guise. This trim comes equipped with more advanced safety features. This includes ESP, hill hold, engine auto start/stop and TPMS. Moreover, customers also get the convenience of electrically adjustable ORVMs, manual day/night IRVM, a rear parking camera and My Citroen Connect smartphone connectivity features. On the outside, this trim now benefits from a slew of changes. This includes 15-inch diamond cut alloy wheels, front fog lamps, rear wiper with washer, rear skid plates, and rear defogger. Under the hood, the C3’s turbo-petrol engine makes 109 BHP and 190 Nm of peak torque matched to a six-speed manual gearbox.
