TVS Eurogrip is now finally available in the much-awaited enthusiast segment. TVS mentioned that launching a range of adventure touring and superbike tyres is a big move. With this, they are further augmenting their product range. TVS further mentioned that these high-performance products have been designed in Europe keeping in mind the Indian road conditions.
In fact, many of these products are already on sale in the international market. As it stands, TVS has got strong positive initial feedback from trade and consumers.
At the event, the company showcased some new products. This includes Roadhound tyres, Duratrail tyres, Terrabite tyres and more. There were other products as well in the motorcycle tubeless category. TVS is specifically targeting the enthusiast-ridden category.
Key Tyre Features
Roadhound
Roadhound claimed to be a zero-degree steel belted radial tyre. This will cater to the superbikes with claimed excellent grip, handling, and extended tyre mileage. TVS also claims Roadhound is better for high speeds. It has this silica compound that aids the said wet grip. Thereafter the advanced tread geometry on offer helps to boost the stability and comfort of the tyre.
Duratrail
Duratrail EB+ pattern is an aligned block-type design that offers a claimed superior grip thus making it excellent to use on-off road applications. The grooves help to derive better stability & mileage. Meanwhile, the width expands from the centre which helps to expel water quickly thus avoiding aquaplaning.TVS also claims exceptional cornering ability. In fact, this is one of the key highlights of this product. The use of a rounded shoulder profile that the Duratrail EB+ pattern has helps to achieve this.
Terrabite
TVS suggests Terrabite DB+ is perfect as a robust tyre built for tough terrains and off-road. This is a tyre that can take you through poor city roads. In fact, it can take a higher level of beating with the road completely broken as well. Visually, the Terrabite DB+ gets bigger blocks that help to give it a superior grip. Terrabite DB+ construction also has been done with deeper treads that aid to provide long-lasting durability claims TVS tyres.
