Wardwizard Innovations and Mobility Ltd is one of India’s fastest-growing EV makers. It manufactures electric two-wheelers under the brand name ‘Joy e-bike’. Recently, the company announced a significant milestone in their journey. They have received around 18,600 bookings for its new high-speed electric scooter MIHOS. The EV maker has received a phenomenal response from customers for this scooter. And all of this has happened just in the duration of 15 days starting from 22nd January 2023. This was when the ‘Bookings Open’ was announced for the scooter.
What Is The MIHOS Electric Scooter?
MIHOS is a robust electric two-wheeler that is retro-style. We first got a glimpse of the electric scooter at the Auto Expo 2023. Currently retailing at INR 1.35 Lakh (Ex-showroom Price), MIHOS is an interesting product for the market.
Joy e-bike mentioned that the deliveries of MIHOS will begin in March 2023. This will happen in a phased manner across India. The Company has already commenced the process of accepting bookings for the month of April 2023, which begins on 9th February 2023, Thursday. To make the buying experience more convenient and hassle-free for the customers, Joy e-bike has kept the booking amount at a nominal price of just INR 999.
Demand High For Electric Two-Wheelers In India
With the demand running high for EVs in the market. We expect Mihos to sell in good numbers. With the increase in demand and competition amongst the other options in the segment, customers are at the most benefit. In fact, various state governments and the central too are pushing hard for electric mobility. This will make a significant impact on the carbon footprint thus adding to sustainable development. Customers too, are now more than willing to get an EV over traditional petrol-powered two-wheelers. EVs are easier to ride, cheaper to maintain and also get more performance. Just the charging infrastructure is not yet fully ready, but soon this shall change too.
