Royal Enfield Classic 350 Bobber could arrive soon

Written by AnantaSaranNayak

As per reports, Royal Enfield is working on a wide range of products. These products will use the company’s existing and upcoming platforms. Among all, the most exciting one is a Bobber-style product. We understand Royal Enfield will use the company’s J-platform for its development. As of now, we do not have many details about this motorcycle. However, it is safe to assume it will be based on the Classic 350. Thus we can expect the bike to resemble and carry a similar styling philosophy as the much coveted Classic 350.

What Can We Expect From Royal Enfield Classic 350 Bobber?

Thus similar to the 350, the silhouette of the motorcycle shows a round headlight with a beak-style element on top. It also carries a tear-drop-shaped fuel tank, a rider-only seat, an ape-hanger handlebar, a rear-fender-mounted tail light, and wire-spoke wheels.

Like the styling, the mechanicals, too, should remain similar to the Classic 350. Preliminary reports suggest the new model could use telescopic front forks and twin rear springs to handle the suspension duties. Then, for the braking hardware, Royal Enfield might use two options. The base model may only get a drum setup at the rear. On the other hand, the premium variants may benefit from discs at both ends.

The engine, too, will most likely remain the same. The 349cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine is linked to a five-speed gearbox. The performance figures for this motor reads as 20 BHP and 27 Nm on the Classic 350. Thus, we are also betting on similar output figures for this upcoming Bobber-style product.

Launch Timeline And Rivals

The details about the Indian launch of this motorcycle are not available just as of yet. Once launched, this Royal Enfield Bobber-style product will have a fair share of competition. This will rival the Benelli Imperiale 400, Jawa Perak, TVS Ronin, and more. However, we understand this new Royal Enfield should arrive after the launch of the new Royal Enfield Bullet 350.
