Tata Motors has discontinued a total of 6 variants of its Nexon SUV. The discontinued variants are XZ, XZA, XZ+ (O), XZA+ (O), XZ+ (O) Dark, and XZA+ (O) Dark. But still, the car is still available in more than 60 variants. This includes both petrol and diesel versions in both manual and automatic transmission options.

Among the discarded variants, XZ and XZ+ (O) were mid-spec variants in Nexon’s line-up. We understand these were discontinued due to the introduction of newer and higher-spec variants such as XZ+ (HS), XZ+ (L), and XZ+ (P). Moreover, as per the latest reports, Tata Motors is working on a generation update for the Nexon. Nexon being a popular product from Tata does need an update. Given the rising competition, a fresh new look with more features and mechanical upgrades will make the SUV even more appealing.
