Inspired by the high demand for the 2022 Gold Line limited editions, now Triumph has introduced a new eight-model range of limited edition motorcycles – the Chrome Collection. In this article, we will briefly talk about the Bonneville T120 & T100 Chrome Edition.
Bonneville T120 Chrome Edition
The definitive British motorcycle icon, the Bonneville T120 is a combination of high specification, modern capability, and thrilling torque-rich performance. Now for 2023, the Bonneville T120 Chrome Edition brings in a custom-inspired stunning new look. The fuel tank is the centerpiece of this limited edition, done flawlessly with chrome. There’s also an iconic and distinctive Meriden Blue painted surround, beautifully offset by the contrasting Jet Black mudguards, headlight bowl, and side panels.
A matching Meriden Blue fly screen is also available as an add-on accessory. This completes the overall outlook and also improves long-ride comfort. Using the 1200cc low-inertia Bonneville engine offers an impressive mix of low-end torque and top-end power. This makes the T120 just as much fun for sedate weekend road riding as well as for a spirited highway run.
Bonneville T100 Chrome Edition
On the other hand, the Bonneville T100 Chrome Edition features a contemporary Cobalt Blue fuel tank with unique. Chrome Edition metal stripe detailing. Further complementing this are the mudguards, side panels, and headlamp bowl. All are done in a rich Jet Black shade. To add to the practicality and custom style, riders get a matching Cobalt Blue fly screen. This is available as an accessory option. Accessible, and easy to handle are the keywords with the Bonneville T100.
The Bonneville T100 represents the perfect introduction to Triumph’s award-winning modern classics range. Confidence-inspiring and convertible to A2 license compliant, the T100 uses cartridge forks, a Brembo front brake, ABS, traction control, and a torque-assist clutch. This ensures safer corner entry and a light, easy lever action. The torque-rich, low-inertia Bonneville 900cc engine pushes out 65PS (64 BHP) at 7,400rpm with a peak torque of 80 Nm at 3,750rpm. This results in a responsive engine character with easy-going, tractable power at low revs. At the same time, there’s plenty of top-end punch for an exhilarating, fun ride.
